A love all things aesthetic led me to begin designing jewellery in 2001. My talents as an artist had been honed in more conventional media until then. In 1992 I spent time as a student of Art History in Siena, Italy, and my mind was opened to the wonderful confluence of art and everyday life… in fashion, in food, in architecture.
I am inspired by the beauty all around us, in nature and in the things we create. I am inspired by my travels and the people I meet here at home. My background as an historian, teacher, and musician inform my work, as I strive to make my jewellery wearable, unique pieces of heirloom art that can be enjoyed for years to come.
